SSIS India was founded in 2002 with a clear mission: to deliver enterprise-grade software solutions to mid-market businesses at costs they could actually afford. At the time, the choice for a Mumbai business that needed serious software was limited - either expensive packaged software from large vendors that required expensive implementation partners, or small freelance developers who could not deliver complex enterprise systems. SSIS India positioned itself in the middle: a structured, professional software company that could deliver projects of real complexity without the overhead and pricing of large consultancies.
Over the following two decades, that positioning proved durable. We have grown steadily, built a team of 50+ professionals, delivered 500+ projects for 100+ clients, and maintained long-term relationships with many of our original clients whose businesses have grown alongside ours. Several clients who came to us as 20-person companies have since grown to 200+ employees, with SSIS India systems underpinning that growth throughout.
Our Technology Leadership
Technology evolves, and a software company that stops evolving becomes obsolete. SSIS India has continuously invested in capability development since our founding. In 2002 we were building web applications in Classic ASP; we adopted ASP.NET when it launched and have stayed current with the .NET ecosystem through every generation. We adopted SQL Server as our primary database platform in the mid-2000s and have developed deep expertise in database design, performance optimisation and enterprise data architecture.
As mobile computing emerged, we built our mobile application practice, first on Android and iOS native and then adopting React Native and Flutter as cross-platform tools matured. When Power BI emerged as the dominant business intelligence tool, we built a strong BI practice with certified Power BI developers. Most recently, we have developed genuine Machine Learning and AI expertise - not the superficial AI capability that many IT companies now claim, but production-grade ML models deployed in real client environments for fraud detection, predictive analytics, computer vision and NLP applications.

We never hide a problem - when a challenge arises in a project, we communicate it proactively and work with the client to resolve it together. We give honest estimates based on our experience rather than optimistic estimates designed to win the project. We document our work thoroughly so clients are never dependent on specific individuals and can always understand what has been built. And we stand behind our work - when something we built does not behave as expected, we fix it without the need for commercial negotiation about whether it is in scope.

Every member of our team is employed directly - we do not use contract staffing agencies or offshore labour. This means our clients work with a stable, committed team that builds institutional knowledge about their business over time.

Our development team spans a range of experience levels from senior developers with 10+ years to bright junior developers who bring energy and familiarity with the latest technology approaches.
